This policy explains how Özel Dent KM Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği (“Dent KM”) (“we”) handles your personal data when you use dentkm.ie. We process data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, the ePrivacy Regulations 2011 (S.I. 336/2011) and the data protection law of Turkey where our clinic is based.
Who is responsible for your data
Özel Dent KM Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği, Ege Vista İş Merkezi No:1 E-1:F, Hülya Koçyiğit Bulvarı, Türkmen Mahallesi, Kuşadası, Aydın, Turkey. Questions about your data: [email protected].
What we collect
When you request a treatment plan we collect your name, phone number, optional email address, your answers to the questionnaire and any message, photos or X-rays you send us. We also record which advert or page brought you to us (e.g. UTM parameters, click IDs) so we can measure our advertising.
Why we use it
To contact you about your enquiry, prepare your treatment plan and quote, and organise your treatment and travel (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract), and – only if you accept cookies – to measure the performance of our adverts (consent). Health data such as photos and X-rays is processed on the basis of your explicit consent, for the purpose of assessing your treatment. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
Who we share it with
Only with our clinical team and coordinators, and service providers who help us run this site and communicate with you (hosting, WhatsApp/Meta, email). Your data is transferred to Turkey, which is outside the EEA and has no European Commission adequacy decision; we transfer it because it is necessary to provide the treatment you ask about and, where relevant, with your explicit consent, and we ask you to be aware that protections may differ from those in the EU. Advertising partners (Google, Meta) may process data in other countries under their own safeguards, for example standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential storage keeps the site working and remembers your cookie choice. Analytics and advertising cookies and tags (Google, Meta) are switched off until you accept them in the cookie banner; rejecting them is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the page footer.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to treatment are deleted after 24 months. Patient records are kept as required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
